I’m taking part in Million Makers, raising funds for The Prince’s Trust.

The Prince’s Trust believes that every young person should have the chance to succeed, no matter what their background or the challenges they are facing. The recent Class of Covid report reveals almost half of young people in the UK (49%) feel anxious about their future on a daily basis, with more than a third (35%) feeling that their life is spiralling out of control.

The courses offered by The Trust help young people aged 11-30 to develop essential life skills, get ready for work, access job opportunities and create a brighter future for themselves.

Personally, I am excited about participating in this opportunity to raise funds for a great cause and make a meaningful impact. I am looking forward to challenging myself outside of my comfort zone, collaborating as a team player and contributing my ideas. Having chosen the project manager role for large events, I will take ownership of overseeing and organising the team to create a captivating event that attracts substantial donations.
