Future Steps

Me vs 10,000 steps

I’m taking part in the Future Steps challenge this February for The Prince’s Trust – facing 10,000 steps a day to help transform the lives of young people in the UK. Now, I know what you're thinking – February in Manchester isn't exactly known for its balmy weather. But hey, where's the fun in a challenge without a little bit of adversity? So, rain or shine, I'll be hitting the streets, sidewalks, and maybe even the occasional muddy trail in pursuit of those elusive 10,000 steps. But here's the twist: while I'm out pounding the pavement, I'll also be keeping an eye out for our feathered friends – the local geese population. Yes, you heard that right. In addition to clocking my steps, I'll be on a mission to bring you exciting updates on the comings and goings of our fine feathered companions. So, to all my generous donors who are supporting me on this journey, get ready for some goose-tastic updates. From gaggles to waddles, expect to hear all about the fascinating lives of Manchester's geese as I traverse the city in search of my step-count goals. And who knows? Maybe along the way, I'll uncover some hidden gems, stumble upon unexpected adventures, or even find myself in a staring contest with a particularly curious goose. Whatever the case may be, one thing's for sure – this February is shaping up to be anything but ordinary. So, buckle up, folks. It's time to step up and join me on this wild ride through rain, shine, and maybe even a few honks along the way. Please help me to support The Prince’s Trust by sponsoring me and sharing my page.
