Will you make your miles matter to support young people?
Walk with us for 13 miles around iconic Windsor landmarks on Sunday 6 October, 2024.
Sign up with friends and family to conquer 13 miles together and help young people create a better future for themselves. Your fundraising will help support young people across the UK to find confidence and gain the skills to live, learn and earn.
Our finish festival features live music, delicious food from our vendors, children’s entertainers and much more. Make sure to bring your friends and family along to join in the walk or cheer you across the finish line and soak up the atmosphere!
Looking for the Palace to Palace cycle? Both events will finish up at our Finish Festival at Windsor Racecourse, so get your friends and family involved!

The Palace Walk route
Starting at the beautiful grounds of the Royal Windsor Racecourse, you will walk towards Windsor town centre, along the river, passing Alexandra Gardens and your first close up view of Windsor Castle. You then join the famous Long Walk, heading towards the King George III and his horse statue. Don’t forget to turn around and take in the amazing and most recognisable views of the Castle.
You then continue through the Great Windsor Park and on towards Old Windsor where you will pick up the Thames Path and follow the river back round to Windsor. The walk finishes back at Windsor Racecourse where you can celebrate your huge achievement with fellow walkers and Palace to Palace cyclists at our iconic finish festival.

How do I sign up online?
Registering for Palace Walk is quick and simple. Simply click the 'Register' button - it’ll just take a few minutes to register (don’t forget to have your credit or debit card handy).
If your company is paying for your registration fee then you will need to select ‘claim a pre-paid corporate place’ and enter a claim code, which will be provided to you by your company Team Captain or by the Non-Participating Team Administrator, over email upon registering.
Please note that the registration fee is non-refundable.

Can I register as part of a team?
Yes, you can join or create a team when you sign up for the event. If you’re already registered and want to create or join a team, just log into your account and search for the team you want to join.
Is there a minimum age limit for The Palace Walk?
All participants must be aged 14 or over on the date of the event. Any participant under 18 at the time of registering must take part with a parent or guardian over the age of 18.
